This capture is from Palouse Falls State Park. While the fascinating Palouse Falls is the main attraction of the site, the jagged canyon is equally stunning. According to a story of the Palouse tribe, the canyon walls show claw marks of a mythical creature called "Big Beaver". As light plays on the walls they look spectacularly painted.
